March Already!

I have been very neglectful and I am sorry. In my defense I would like to say my clone has not yet arrived. I have been sick again and this past weekend had a horrible toothache resulting in a trip to the dentist on Monday and a root canal. Love bug has been sick as well and I am sure we can both attribute it to the fact that the seasons are changing and pollen is in the air! To catch you up to speed love bug had her Daddy/Daughter Dance in February and she looked lovely and her daddy quite dashing. She had the best time and loved the "Freeze Dance" the most. Work and life in general have been crazy as usual (did I mention the root canal). I have a lot I want to say as recent events have forced me to take a look at life and relationships but those will have to wait as my painkiller is kicking in. Happy Belated New Year!

We all had a great Christmas and Love Bug even noticed that Santa had visited us and woke up us!

Among the new toys were a cowboy had, bike and Barbie electric guitar. I got the wife of the year award for buying Joe a Wii (against my better judgement), but he also had to take an oath not to let it interfere with family time. We had an amazingly blessed Christmas even though we all battled colds throughout December and now even into January.

Our large tv went out the week before New Year's but thanks to someone else getting a great Christmas present, they were selling theirs and we got a great deal on not only a tv, but also a newer dvd/surround sound system! Now it is late (the only time I actually get to use my computer) so I must be off to bed as tomorrow love bug returns to school and it will be a busy morning. Here's a video for your enjoyment of Christmas morning (oh yeah-we got a new camera!). If I look rough-I just got up and only had 3 hours of sleep. Oh and the Christmas music-that is playing in our house from Thanksgiving through Christmas-we are a sappy bunch 8)

It's Almost Christmas!

I cannot believe it but Christmas is almost here! We have all the shopping done, well except for mine and Joe's, but other

than that we are ready! Right now we all have a cold. Love bug woke up Monday morning with a pretty high fever and Joe had to take her to the doctor. For the first time in 2 years she was prescribed antibiotics and her fever broke by

Wednesday. We attended the Christmas party for Joe's work and it was very nice and I got a my filet mignon-yeah me! The car I have been driving isn't working great and is

leaking water horribly. We are having my car checked tomorrow and hopefully it will be on the road by Saturday. Tonight we decorated a gingerbread house. I bought a kit because after all people, I am entirely too busy to make it from scratch. Love bug got to decorate a gingerbread house and I didn't get the headache of making it! Love bug's Christmas program was last week for her school and she was adorable as always! The children did a great job and fun was had by all. Well I will leave you with some pictures and a promise to blog again before Christmas.

Up to Date

Update: We moved into a great house that we found in Deltona and we love it! Love bug started preschool and she is having a blast. She loves her teacher and so do I 8) Her very 1st school play is this weekend and it's of course for Thanksgiving. We are all super excited about watching our little drama queen flex her acting muscles ha ha. A few months ago Joe and I both changed jobs and we love where we work. His boss is an answer to many prayers for him as is mine. Love bug has been a little sick for about a week and a half but she seems to be getting better. I had a tooth ache last week that resulted in me breaking down and going to the dentist and yesterday I had a tooth pulled. Joe got sick this weekend and currently I have the whole family on a regimen of vitamin c and zinc daily. We are all looking forward to Thanksgiving next week. I even have a four day weekend which is a first in many many years. I am just really looking forward to the holiday season and spending quality time with family, friends and lots of good food. Well I have to go for now. I promise it won't be so long in between posts next time 8)

Moving? Maybe...

So for a long time we have been looking for a place to move as our current residence is in foreclosure. These things happen when you have a landlord that stopped paying their mortgage the month you move in. Today we received finalization in the foreclosure proceedings that the property would be sold December 2nd. There were quite a few homes we were going to view today and one of them was in Deltona. It looked promising, but again they all do on the internet and then you see it in person and realize that pictures do not tell the whole story. So the home in Deltona is all that it seems and tomorrow Joe will be going to see the home with us (he was at Promise Keepers today). In other news love bug wants to start dance classes. I am hoping to get her enrolled in either dancing or gymnastics after we move. If all goes well with the house tomorrow we may be moving as early as the next few weeks or as late as the 1st of October. I am so excited about this house! I am just trying to not be so excited. If it is in God's will then it will happen and if not, we will find another home. There, I said it and hopefully it will sink in shortly.
I started a new job this week and I LOVE IT! It is back in the car industry and once you have been in the car industry you can never truly escape. The work is fast paced and you always have a ton of it to do. Crazy I know, but it's in my blood at this point. Seriously I think if you took a dna sample there would be little cars floating around with the genomes.
Love bug is still loving school and is also enjoying riding her bike now. She has gone through another growth spurt and I need to get her some new clothes. I just got her a new outfit and she decided to get into my nail polish the other night and try to paint her own nails. She got some polish on the new shirt and it is officially play clothes now. I might try to find a few new ones tomorrow if I can. Well it is time for the bed as church is tomorrow and the morning will be here quickly. Have a good night and pray for us to find a home!

School...Already?!

Last Friday the Gaylord Palms held a promotion for Friday the 13th (crazy huh) where the first 13 callers to call at 1:13pm would get a room for $13.00. My loco hubby heard about it on the news and called and was the 1st of the 13! So Friday night we stayed at the Gaylord Palms. It is gorgeous! There are tons of water features (it's a huge atrium with streams winding everywhere) and in the water love bug got to see huge coi as well as turtles and alligators. She had a blast! If that were not enough we went to the pool Saturday morning and they have several different pools-one specifically for families. The marine pool had an octopus slide as well as a little dry play area with a snail slide and the two splash pads. We had almost as much fun as love bug did and of course she didn't want to leave but we had to not only because of the check out but love bug had an appointment for her first hair cut. Don't freak out-it was only a trim. My wonderful hairdresser Trish trimmed about 3 inches off of love bug's hair and it looks much tamer now and nothing detracts from her gorgeous mane (biased much-yes I am). Then there was some school shopping and Wal-Mart made me very happy by having everything that we needed and enough cashier's on hand for a change.
So we had a very nice weekend and yet I am sitting here very sad. Our love bug starts preschool in the morning and while I am happy and excited for all that she will learn and the thrill of starting her education this means many other things. My love bug, my baby is growing up and growing up fast. I cherish every wonderful moment and have enjoyed all the stages of her growth, but it is still going to fast. Everyone says children grow up so quickly so enjoy every moment you can. I have done that and still, I need more time. She is my love bug, the little blessing we got to keep. I cannot have children easily and she is the only one we get-why can't I get more time??? My little one is indeed growing up to quickly, and that makes me sad. I am trying very hard to look at all the wonderful things to look forward to with this new chapter and I am happy for them, but at this moment I am feeling quite sad. Just wait until tomorrow morning-I will be a blubbering idiot.

Updates on Stuff

I know that I haven't blogged in a long time and I have much to catch you all up on. Now that I have said that please understand that my love bug wants her mommy, so this will be relatively short but I promise I will post more soon (seriously). The latest and greatest news is that love bug is all set up for preschool (minus the physical and shots uh). She will be attending a church preschool and going 3 days a week for 5 hours a day. I cannot believe she is going to preschool! How did this happen? Where did the time go? She is growing and learning at such a rapid rate it makes my head spin. The only part she is excited about (and she doesn't even know about the shots yet) is that she will get a back pack. I am sure after a few weeks she will run right into her classroom but initially it's going to not be pleasant. I am nonetheless excited about all that our love bug will learn and the new friends she will make. I promise to update more soon and add pictures. That is all for now-I warned you 8)
